In our neck of the woods life goes on with casual abandon much like nature that surrounds us. The Cardinal and Blue Jays are back so also the Juncos and Chikadees. The wild grouse have got used to goings and comings and take to the higher branches while we putter around the pond. Surprisingly the doves and the Robins sat on the de-icer to wet their whistles !
